PlantedShack is a reading site. You do not need an account, and there are no forms to fill in.

What we collect

Nothing about you directly. The site sets no cookies and runs no advertising or tracking scripts. Our fonts are served from our own address, not from a third party.

Visit counts. We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to count page views and see which guides are read. It does not use cookies, does not build a profile of you and does not follow you across other websites. It records things like the page visited, the referring page, your country and your browser type.

Standard server logs. Like every website, the service that hosts and delivers our pages records technical details of each request, such as the IP address, browser type, page requested and time. These logs are used to keep the site running and secure, and are kept only as long as the host keeps them.

Email you send us. If you email us, we receive your address and whatever you write. We use it only to reply and to fix the site, and we do not add you to any list.

Who else is involved

Our pages are hosted and delivered by Cloudflare, which processes the request data described above on our behalf. We do not sell or share information with anyone else.

Changes

If we add advertising or anything that collects more information, we will update this page before it goes live and change the date above.

Your choices

You can ask us what, if anything, we hold about you, or ask us to delete an email you sent, by writing to hello@plantedshack.com.
